About our redevelopment
The NSW Government is investing $619 million to redevelop The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Stage 2. This is a significant expansion to paediatric health services in western Sydney.
It includes the construction of a new paediatric services building, a new forecourt entry, and a multi-storey car park to serve the existing and expanded hospital. The project ensures the hospital continues to be a world leader in providing care for sick children, and enables the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network to continue to help children and young people live their healthiest lives. The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Stage 2 Redevelopment builds on the work delivered in Stage 1 and furthers the Westmead Health Precinct as one of the largest health, research, education and training precincts in the world.
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which our hospital is built, the Burramattagal people of the Dharug Nation.
