We’re launching a digital photo competition, open to patients, families, volunteers, and staff at both hospitals. 

Entries for the 'Photo Finish' competition open on 4 October 2022 and close on 30 October 2022. The competition is a chance for everyone in our hospital communities to showcase their creativity and help decorate the walls of our hospitals. 

You can enter by: 

• snapping an original photo using your smart phone or tablet 
• saving your image as firstname lastname_artworktitle.jpg 
• sending it to the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network Team through our competition website form 

Entries can be submitted under three themes: Nature, People and Places, and The Water Around Us. There are also age categories for children and young people under 18 years. 

With the interior design elements at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick redevelopments being closely linked to the local river and coastal communities surrounding the sites – 'The Water Around Us' theme is a celebration of the redevelopment projects. 

Representatives from The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, Health Infrastructure and The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation will judge the entries. The winners will be announced in November, so stay tuned.
